PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES

The principal activities of the association during the financial year were:

a) To represent the interests of members in negotiations with Unions and the Government in
relation to the Journalists' (Country Non - Daily Newspapers) Award and the
Country Printing Award and the Country Printing Award.

b) To represent the interests of members in relation to the negotiation of the
Commonwealth Government Advertising Agreement.

c) To represent the interests of members on industry Bodies, including Australian Press Council
and Australian Publishers Bureau.
